Cork Chamber is the leading business organisation for the promotion, development and expansion of economic and commercial activity in the Cork Region. Kearys BMW Eastgate was the setting for the chamber’s latest meeting featuring a variety of businesses from the Cork area. Over 100 members of the chamber turned up for the event. One of the key functions of the night was the “speed networking”. Members had to discuss their business with each other for two minutes, then as the bell rang, move onto another member. The fast paced nature of the event kept everyone focused and on their toes!

German luxury car maker BMW said Monday that global car sales in March rose 12.1% on the year to 141,701 vehicles, driven by soaring demand in emerging markets, and it expects second-quarter sales to come in above last year’s level as well.
