BMW Group Financial Services has entered the Irish motorcycle finance market and will offer a range of motorcycle finance, leasing and insurance products. Products will be available on new and approved used BMW motorcycles.

Leading motorcycle digest MCN has declared the new BMW S1000RR its Machine of the Year for 2010. The MCN judges heaped praise on the S1000RR saying: “With huge sales success, plus Superstock championship wins around the globe, and the kind of technical ideas and performance that have left the other manufacturers behind, there could only be one winner.”

The 12th of May, 2009, was a great day both for BMW and motorcycle enthusiasts all over the world. A very special R1200GS came off the production line in BMW’s Berlin factory – the 500,000th G/S model produced since Gelände/Straße (off road/road) was pioneered by BMW in 1980.
